Aziza Sbeity went to the 13th IAAF Juniors World Championship - Canada, where she ran the 100m flat for the first round. It was a beautiful run where she overtook KAFANDO from Burkina Faso in the last 40m and crossed the finish line 6th, setting a modest 12.44s. Aziza was the only Lebanese athlete to go for this World Championship, without her coach Alice Keyrouz, only with the member of the Lebanese Federation Fady Saleme to represent Lebanon. For the first time ever, a 60m indoor organized by the BMA (Beyrouth Marathon Association) will held in the city mall - GF (Dora)! It's on Thursday 22 July at 5:00 PM for the Beyrouth Marathon launching ceremony. Nine races kicked off respectfully from 6:30 to 6:54 p.m. The goal : to break the lebanese national record.
