The Launching Ceremony of Beyrouth Marathon took place at City Mall - Dora, an attempt to break the Lebanese 60 Meters Indoor Record! An amazing show was going on, were many categories were competing in the 60 metersindoor. The music was great, the ambiance was awesome, perfect conditions to break the Lebanese Record. All athletes were motivated and exited!! This competition in a public place is the first of a kind in Lebanon, we might do events like this to motivate our athletes and bring a large number of spectators. Gretta Taslakian (RRA) achieved the show breaking the Lebanese record, clocking 7.60s previous record 7.63s!! And Ramzi Naim, finished 1st setting an amazing 7.05s!! The Lebanese record is still for Mohammad Siraj Tamim: 6.95s.
