Justin Gatlin won the 100 meter race in 10.24 seconds
on Tuesday3 August, at Bigvank Kuldliiga meet in Rakvere - Estonia. In his first competition after a four year doping ban. Gatlin's
time was nearly 0.4s off the race that made him Olympic
champion in Athena 2004 with a time of 9.85s. Gatlin won his
qualifying heat earlier Tuesday in 10.34. No athlete of the other competitors at the meet had a personal best below 10s. Gatlin
won gold in the 100 at the 2004 Athens Olympics in 9.85s. He won the 100
and 200 at the 2005 world championships in Helsinki, but was banned
from the sport after testing positive in April 2006 for excessive
testosterone. The ban ended last month. He is set to compete
again Sunday in Tallinn, the Estonian capital. Watch the Video Here.
