The Lebanese AND Regional Championships will both be on the same time in
the same place, the results of the Lebanese Championship Race will be
classed in regional categories as results of the Regional Championship.
So only one race will be the result of two championships.

The 2011 season has began with Cross Country races! The first event of Cross Country organized by the CSJ (Club Sportif Jamhour), will be on Saturday 15 January for bantam(12-13years), midget(14-15years) and youth(16-17years), being an interscholastic meeting. A second race, and the first organized by the Lebanese Athletics Federation, the Lebanese Regional Championship will be on 31 January to lunch the Championship series. The Lebanese Cross Country Championship will be on 13 February, when other Championships will follow it. These three races will held in Jamhour.
Club Sportif Jamhour (CSJ) is organizing this December: Tuesday 28 and Thursday 30, two meetings for the end of 2010 season, giving the last opportunity for those who have to beat some records before turning to a new category in 2011.
On Saturday 4 December, the Half Marathon had been lunched by the Lebanese Athletics Federation, from Saraya Jbeil to Fouad Chab Stadium-Jounieh, on 21,100m. More than 100 runners from all different Clubs were attending this Championship, where also, the British Ambassador Marry Gay and a large number of foreigners were attending this event.
We have to mention that Arine Kassabian who took second place in her category after Melissa Risk, is only 17! And she also won 4th place over all!! A fruitful future is waiting Arine in long distances!
The 16th Asian Games are taking place this time in Guangzhou - China, from 12 to 27 November 2010. The Athletes Village will open on 5 November accommodating 10,156 athlete and 4,202 team officials during the Games.
Athletes will be participating in 42 different sport: Aquatics - Archery - Athletics - Badminton - Baseball - Basketball - Billiard - Bowling - Boxing - Cycling - Canoe Kayak - Chess - Cricket - Dance - Dragon Boat - Equestrian - Fencing - Football - Golf - Gymnastics - Handball - Hockey - Judo - Kabaddi - Karate - Modern Pentathlon - Roller - Rowing - Rugby - Tennis - Triathlon - Volleyball - Weightlifting - Wrestling - Wushu.
The Beyrouth Marathon Assosiation orgonized on October 23 the YEAP event, a
program dedicated to youth from all over Lebanon, where more than 1500 young athletes from more than 620 schools have competed in 5 different regions in one day!
